Current Releases

McIlroy Cellars releases new vintages every year. Our current releases feature Chardonnay from our estate vineyard, which was replanted in 2009. Chardonnay is the perfect grape for the complex soils and natural character of Aquarius Ranch. And our wines feature plenty of ripe fruit with a rich mouth-feel and bright acidity for balance. We are currently sold out of our library wines, which feature a range of other varietals. But we are excited to produce a new vintage of our well-loved Pinot Noir that was released this summer.

2017 Chock Rock Vineyard Pinot Noir
Monterey County

The 2017 vintage is our first working with the wonderful Pinot Noir grapes grown from the Chock Rock Vineyard down in Monterey County. The rocky soil in the hills of Monterey make amazing wines with Pinot Noir especially. This wine showcases round red cherry on the palette with plenty of stoney minerality from the chalk rock that naturally exists in the soil and shows in the wine.
